Leading SAFe
Attendees will gain an understanding of the Lean-Agile mindset and why it’s so effective in today’s adapt-or-die marketplace. They’ll also get practical advice on supporting Agile teams and programs, empowering a Lean Portfolio, building a continuous delivery pipeline and DevOps culture, and coordinating large solutions.
SAFe for Teams
They will also learn how to write stories and break down features, plan and execute iterations, and plan Program Increments. Finally, they’ll learn about the continuous delivery pipeline and DevOps culture, how to effectively integrate with other teams in the program, and what it takes to continuously improve the train.
SAFe Scrummaster
A SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) is a team-based servant leader who helps teams self-organize, self-manage, and deliver value via effective Agile practices. The Scrum Master supports and coaches the Scrum process and other processes that the team has agreed upon. The Scrum Master also helps the team coordinate with other teams on the Agile Release Train (ART) and communicates status to management as needed.
SAFe Advance Scrum Master
A SAFe Advanced Scrum Master (SASM) is a servant leader who has a broader, systems view of the Scrum Master role and provides integrated practices for facilitating multiple team, program, and enterprise success in larger programs. Advanced Scrum Masters understand Agile and Scrum anti-patterns and facilitate cross-team interactions to support program execution and relentless improvement. Providing this experience and servant leadership helps teams improve flow and quality of work, resulting in cohesive, high-performing Lean-Agile teams that deliver continuous value.
SAFe Product Owner / Product Manager
A SAFe Product Owner (PO) serves as the customer proxy for the team and works with Product Management and other stakeholders—including other Product Owners—to define and prioritize stories in the Team Backlog so that the system or solution effectively addresses program priorities while maintaining the technical integrity of the features or components the team is responsible for creating. The PO has a significant role in quality and is the only team member empowered to accept stories as done.
SAFe DevOps
Certified SAFe 5 DevOps Practitioners (SDP) helps to optimize flow of value through the Continuous Delivery Pipeline. An SDP maps value streams through the pipeline from idea to cash, and identifies practices that eliminate bottlenecks to flow. They continuously work to improve processes for exploring customer needs, developing, building, deploying, and delivering value. By helping to align people, processes, and technology throughout the organization, the SDP is a key player in establishing a culture of shared responsibility for the full spectrum of solution delivery.
SAFe for Government
A Certified SAFe Government Practitioner (SGP) understands and can lead a Lean-Agile transformation program inside a government agency. SGPs drive successful organizational change by building high performing, multi-vendor Agile teams and programs, managing technology investments in Lean flow, acquiring solutions with Agile contracting, launching the program, and planning and delivering value using SAFe.
Learn portfolio Management
A Certified SAFe 5 Lean Portfolio Manager is a SAFe professional who works with enterprise executives, Product and Solution Managers, Enterprise Architects, Agile PMO personnel and Agile teams to align strategy and execution by applying Lean and systems thinking approaches to strategy and investment funding, agile portfolio operations, and governance.
SAFe Agile Software Engineer
A Certified SAFe Agile Software Engineer is a member of an Agile team that understands the foundational principles and practices that make up the Agile Software Engineering discipline. The Agile Software Engineer understands that the continuous flow of value delivery and building in quality are enabled by modern practices including XP technical practices, Behavioral-Driven Development (BDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD). The Agile Software Engineer also embraces proven practices to detail, model, design, implement, verify, and validate stories in a SAFe Continuous Delivery Pipeline.
SAFe for Architects
A Certified SAFe 5 Architect is an effective leader and change agent who delivers Agile Architecture to enable the creation of business value. Key areas of competency include applying SAFe principles to develop and maintain Agile Architecture and release on demand, leading and supporting Solution Trains and Agile Release Trains, extending the principles driving continuous flow to large systems-of-systems, and enabling improved flow of value.
SAFe Agile Product Management
A Certified SAFe Agile Product Manager combines Design Thinking with Lean-Agile values and principles to create products and solutions that are desirable, viable, feasible, and sustainable. They understand how Continuous Exploration fuels innovation and helps to define a vision, strategy, and roadmap to tap into new markets and accelerate the product lifecycle to get fast feedback to deliver exception products and solutions
